Here it is - the chance you've all been waiting for! We are pleased to announce that entries are open for the return of Swap The Band at Port Zelande 2027.

If you don't know what we're talking about then here is a short explanation. Basically if you can play any of the instruments that Marillion play, or you can sing - now is your chance to get up on stage and show us.

We 'swap out' a member of the band - let's say Steve Rothery - and you take his place and play a Marillion song along with the rest of the band. We take it in turns swapping out each member.

We have done this at a couple of conventions in the past (way back when) and it was also brilliant fun for the band and the fans!

Obviously you need to be attending PZ, so once your booking has been confirmed, if you want to be considered you have until December 1st 2026 to email an MP3 (or send a You Tube link) of you playing your chosen instrument or singing a song.

It doesn't have to be a Marillion cover, it's just for us to gauge how good you are. We will then all sit down and choose some people after this date and get in touch with the lucky winners.

If chosen we'll be in touch and tell you what you'll have to do and discuss the song choices we have for you - but you have to keep it all a secret otherwise it spoils the surprise!

Please send your MP3 or You Tube link to swaptheband@marillion.com along with your name, gender, and age.

We are very pleased to officially announce that the Marillion Weekend will return to Center Parcs, Port Zelande, The Netherlands on 10 - 15 March 2027.

Applications to attend will open at 14.00 (UK TIME) on the 29 April 2026 and will be open until midnight (UK TIME) on 3 May 2026.

As we've previously said, we now play no more than two shows in a row followed by a day off. We made this change to keep up the high standards of performance that we have set for ourselves and that you expect from us.

IN 2025, we expanded this policy to all of the Marillion Weekends.

HOWEVER, the good news is that we will still be playing three shows at Center Parcs but these will be on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

As there will be a concert on the Thursday Night, we have extended the Weekend and it includes five nights accommodation, and you will also be able to arrive on Wednesday 10 March (Check in from 4pm).

We are currently putting together our plans for the three shows which will be held in our on-site, purpose-built venue, not to mention some other events on the Saturday night which we're sure you will enjoy.

As usual, we look forward to welcoming you to the Weekend, whether you are a first-timer or a MW veteran; PLEASE DO TAKE TIME TO READ ALL THE INFORMATION HERE CAREFULLY!!!
