Wednesday Night is Fancy Dress Night and we will announce the theme ASAP.
Here it is - the chance you've all been waiting for! We are pleased to announce the return of Swap The Band for Port Zelande 2027.
If you don't know what we're talking about then here is a short explanation. Basically if you can play any of the instruments that Marillion play, or you can sing - now is your chance to get up on stage and show us.
We 'swap out' a member of the band - let's say Steve Rothery - and you take his place and play a Marillion song along with the rest of the band. We take it in turns swapping out each member.
We have done this at a couple of conventions in the past (way back when) and it was also brilliant fun for the band and the fans!
Once your booking has been confirmed, if you want to be considered you have until December 1st 2026 to email an MP3 (or send a You Tube link) of you playing your chosen instrument or singing a song. It doesn't have to be a Marillion cover, it's just for us to gauge how good you are. We will then all sit down and choose some people after this date and get in touch with the lucky winners.
If chosen we'll be in touch and tell you what you'll have to do and discuss the song choices we have for you - but you have to keep it all a secret otherwise it spoils the surprise!

There will be clearly marked special viewing areas. These will have strict access only by special wristband. Access to these areas will be limited to those with genuine need plus ONE additional guest as a carer only.
Priority will be given to wheelchair users. There will be a platform solely for the use of wheelchairs plus one carer only. This will have a limited capacity for nine wheelchairs. As soon as your booking has been submitted, please contact us to let us know you require a space on this platform.
There will also be a special viewing area next to the main grandstand for the registered disabled. This area will have cushioned chairs.

If you contact us after your booking has been confirmed, we cannot guarantee that you will be accommodated in these areas.
Special cases may be made for circumstances that arise after this date, but you must contact us immediately should your situation change.
Please note that these areas are strictly for wheelchairs and the registered disabled (plus one carer) not for those who just have a bad back or aching body part!
For those of you who prefer to sit, you can purchase seats in the grandstand - see above.
As there is no on-site stage / venue large enough for the concerts, we will be erecting a purpose-built concert arena next to the CenterParcs village as in previous Weekends here.
It will only be a few minutes walk from your cottage and is heated.
Bar refreshments will be available.
If you wish to have a seat in the seating area towards the rear of the concert hall then this will cost £40 per person. This will consist of bench style seating (please bring a cushion if you think you will need it!)
Wristbands to allow access for this seating will only be available to buy from a dedicated desk in the Adventure Factory on Thursday at 11 am (TBC).
Please note that due to health and safety regulations, it is not permitted to bring foldable seating into the venue.
As the signing and photos sessions at the previous Weekends were such a great success we have decided to run the competitions again for 2027.
Prior to 2009 we had long signing sessions which involved lots of queuing for you and repetitive strain injury for the band!
Consequently the band said they wanted to be able to give their very best for the performances in the evening but at the same time not sacrifice the chance to meet with 'The Family' so we changed things a little to ensure that happens.
In previous signing sessions part of what made the process take so long is having items signed AND your photo taken with the band. We realised that some of you only wanted one of these options too. We are also aware that many of you have had the opportunity to have items signed or photos taken on previous occasions and would probably like to give those who haven't a fairer chance of being able to this time.
Therefore we will be running draws to win a place in a more personal signing session or to have your photo taken with the band by a professional photographer.
To be eligible to win a place (for your entire party if there are more than one of you in your booking) you need to send an email with either the word PHOTO or SIGNING in the SUBJECT and your Primary Booking Contact Name and Booking Ref No, email address, no of people in your party and country in the TEXT body to convention@marillionweekend.com

We are grateful for the very generous support of our chosen charities at previous Marillion Weekends. We will announce the chosen charity for 2027 as soon as possible.
We will be bringing the majority of our online catalogue PLUS the usual range of new merchandise to debut at the Weekend.
Merchandise from our Special Guests will also be available through the shop if they choose to provide it.
We expect to have credit/debit card facilities available. Payment in cash will be in Euros and card payments will be taken in Euros too.
Opening hours and location will be printed in your Brochure which will be in your Welcome envelope that you collect at Check-in.
The band will be on site and available most of the weekend to mingle and sign impromptu autographs (although we ask for you to please respect their privacy when they are dining).
All children are allowed into the concert hall, but please bear in mind your child's ability to cope with the concert conditions. It is advisable to bring suitable hearing protection for your children.
We want all our fans to enjoy the Weekend but it would be unfair to other fans if their listening pleasure is disturbed by intrusive behaviour, overloud or crying children.
You are welcome to bring your camera phone into the venue, but please try not to hold your phone up all night taking photos - live the moment and enjoy the music !
Please do not film any of the show and we would especially ask that you don't upload clips to YouTube or post clips / stream the shows live on Facebook.
Video cameras and recording equipment will not be allowed into the venue.
In accordance with Dutch Law there will be NO smoking allowed inside all public areas of CenterParcs.
You will be required to wear a wristband to aid our security during the full period of this event.
No abuse of Marillion Weekend crew or staff, or Center Parcs staff will be tolerated. Anyone caught infringing on this policy will be asked to leave immediately with no refund or other compensation provided.
